Wizards sign Shaun Livingston to second 10-day contract

Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed guard Shaun Livingston to a second 10-day contract.  Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced. Joel Przybilla re-injures himself, needs more surgery after slip in shower

Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla will undergo surgery on his right patella tendon in the next few days. Przybilla re-ruptured his right patella tendon Saturday morning after slipping in the shower at his home in Milwaukee, Wis. He returned to Portland today to undergo an MRI, which revealed the rupture.

Nets’ Yi leaves game with sprained left ankle (AP)

Yi Jianlian sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of the Nets' game against the Knicks on Saturday night and did not return. Yi was hurt with 2:56 left when he appeared to step on a New York player's foot while running back into defensive rebounding position. A team spokesman said X-rays on the forward from China were negative.
