Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey (notes) collapsed Friday night in the second half of a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers right by the Detroit Pistons bench. Plenty of tests have been done on the 23-year-old since then and it’s looking very possible that he may have to miss the rest of the season, according to the Detroit News

The Philadelphia 76ers are very likely to be canning coach Eddie Jordan when the season finally comes to a close, if not before, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The word is that team owner Comcast-Spectacor’s chairman, Ed Snider, wanted to send Jordan packing earlier this season but didn’t do it because he had already fired the head coach of another Philadelphia team his organization owns earlier this season. That firing was done to John Stevens, the former coach of the Philadelphia Flyers .


Wizards sign Shaun Livingston to second 10-day contract

Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed guard Shaun Livingston to a second 10-day contract.  Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced. Livingston originally signed with Washington on February 26.  In four games for the Wizards, Livingston has averaged 3.0 points and 1.5 assists in 9.3 minutes per game. So

The New York Knicks are obviously going to do everything it can to convince LeBron James (notes) to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and make his way to the city that never sleeps. But the general consensus is that there is no way James will end up with the Knicks unless he’s got some sort of martyr complex. The word from the paper of record, the New York Times, is that it is far more likely that the Knicks will have Atlanta Hawks forward Joe Johnson (notes) on its roster next year

Forward Yi Jianlian did not accompany the New Jersey Nets on a four-game road trip because of a sprained left ankle. The Nets open the trip in Memphis on Monday night with a game against the Grizzlies. Yi was hurt Saturday night in the first quarter of the Nets' win over the Knicks, their seventh of the season.

The AP reports: Even the return of All-Star Chris Bosh couldn’t help the Toronto Raptors. Thaddeus Young scored a career-high 32 points, Jrue Holiday had 21 and the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Raptors 114-101 on Sunday to snap a five-game losing streak.
