Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey (notes) collapsed Friday night in the second half of a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers right by the Detroit Pistons bench. Plenty of tests have been done on the 23-year-old since then and it’s looking very possible that he may have to miss the rest of the season, according to the Detroit News

The New York Knicks are obviously going to do everything it can to convince LeBron James (notes) to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and make his way to the city that never sleeps. But the general consensus is that there is no way James will end up with the Knicks unless he’s got some sort of martyr complex. The word from the paper of record, the New York Times, is that it is far more likely that the Knicks will have Atlanta Hawks forward Joe Johnson (notes) on its roster next year

Forward Yi Jianlian did not accompany the New Jersey Nets on a four-game road trip because of a sprained left ankle. The Nets open the trip in Memphis on Monday night with a game against the Grizzlies. Yi was hurt Saturday night in the first quarter of the Nets' win over the Knicks, their seventh of the season.

The New York Knicks have set an NBA record for 3-point futility by missing all 18 attempts in their 113-93 loss to the New Jersey Nets. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Knicks took the most 3s without making one. Research by STATS, LLC dating to the 1986-87 season found the previous most attempts without a make was 16 by Washington against Boston on Nov.

Yi Jianlian sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of the Nets' game against the Knicks on Saturday night and did not return. Yi was hurt with 2:56 left when he appeared to step on a New York player's foot while running back into defensive rebounding position. A team spokesman said X-rays on the forward from China were negative.

Sonny Weems scored a career-high 20 points, Jose Calderon had 16 and the Toronto Raptors ended a four-game losing streak Friday night by beating the visiting Knicks, 102-96.
